Welcome to Certified Short Sale Experts (“CSSE” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our educational courses and directory listing services provided through our website and platform (the “Service”). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Course Enrollment and Payment

1.1 Course Access

Upon successful payment, you will receive access to the purchased course materials for the duration specified in your course enrollment. All course fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in our refund policy.

1.2 Payment Terms

  • All course fees must be paid in full before access is granted
  • We accept payments via credit card, debit card, and other approved payment methods
  • You are responsible for any applicable taxes, fees, or charges imposed by your financial institution

1.3 Course Completion

To graduate from any course and receive certification, you must complete all required modules and assessments as specified in the course curriculum.

2. Directory Listing Services

2.1 Initial Directory Inclusion

Upon successful completion and graduation from the “Certified Short Sale Experts” course, you will receive complimentary inclusion in the Certified Short Sale Experts National on-line directory for a period of one (1) year from your graduation date.

2.2 Directory Renewal 

  • After the initial one-year complimentary period, continued directory listing requires payment of an annual renewal fee
  • Renewal fees are subject to change with 30 days’ notice
  • Failure to pay renewal fees will result in removal from the directory
  • We reserve the right to remove listings for non-payment or violation of these Terms
  • Enrollment in our course includes a complimentary 12-month listing in our online directory. After the initial 12-month period, your listing will automatically renew for each year billed at $29.95 per month until canceled. You may cancel at any time within your account profile. Cancellation will apply to the next billing cycle.

2.3 Directory Removal Rights

We reserve the right to immediately remove any professional from the directory upon:

  • Receiving credible reports of professional misconduct or unethical behavior
  • Confirmation of actions that would damage the reputation or credibility of the CSSE (Certified Short Sale Expert) designation
  • Violations of professional licensing requirements or disciplinary actions by licensing boards
  • Engagement in fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal business practices
  • Any conduct that, in our sole discretion, reflects poorly on the CSSE program or directory

2.4 Profile Requirements

You are solely responsible for:

  • Maintaining current and accurate professional licensing information in your profile
  • Updating your profile information promptly when changes occur
  • Ensuring all information provided is truthful and not misleading
  • Compliance with all applicable professional licensing requirements in your jurisdiction

3. User Responsibilities

3.1 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Professional Conduct

  • You must maintain all required professional licenses and certifications
  • You agree to conduct yourself in accordance with applicable professional standards
  • You will not use our Service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose

3.3 Information Accuracy

You warrant that all information provided to us is accurate, current, and complete. You agree to promptly update your information as necessary to maintain its accuracy.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Course Materials

All course content, materials, and resources are the intellectual property of Certified Short Sale Experts and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

4.2 Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials solely for your personal educational purposes.

5. Your Photos and embedded content from other websites

You can create and edit your profile. This includes the ability to upload a headshot. We have no control over the rights of the image you update. If you upload a photo to your profile, you are solely responsible for the rights to use that image and post it in our directory and your profile.  You are 100% responsible for any legal actions resulting from the uploading of an image or the video you embed for your profile.

6. Directory Services Disclaimer

6.1 No Endorsement

Inclusion in our directory does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of the quality of services provided by listed professionals.

6.2 User Responsibility

Users of the directory are solely responsible for:

  • Verifying the credentials and licensing status of listed professionals
  • Conducting their own due diligence before engaging any listed professional
  • Any transactions or relationships formed through directory connections

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CERTIFIED SHORT SALE EXPERTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Directory renewal fees are non-refundable once paid.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting our admin or customer service at couseadmin@certifiedshortsaleexperts.com. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of paid fees.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.

10. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which governs the collection and use of your personal information and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through our platform. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Professional Licensing Compliance

12.1 License Maintenance

You represent and warrant that you possess all necessary professional licenses and certifications required to perform the services you advertise in your directory profile.

12.2 Compliance and Reputation Monitoring

We reserve the right to verify licensing information and investigate reports of professional misconduct. We may remove directory listings for professionals who:

  • Fail to maintain current licenses or provide false information
  • Are subject to disciplinary action by professional licensing boards
  • Engage in conduct that damages the reputation or credibility of the CSSE designation or directory
  • Are found to have violated professional standards or ethical guidelines

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nevada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

13.2 Arbitration

Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

15. Severability

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Certified Short Sale Experts regarding the use of our Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
